About Sequoia
For over ten years, Sequoia has been ministering in the upper Midwest at Bible camps, churches, retreats and other special events.
In February 1997, Steve Snyder, Dave Podoll and Garrett Novak came together to lead worship for a men's retreat at Arrowhead Bible Camp in New Auburn, WI. Little did we know that God had plans to use us a bit more than we orginally thought. Over the years Sequoia has had the opportunity to share Christ through music, ministry, and a bit of "mayhem!" Sequoia has ministered at churches, youth and family events, American Cancer Society "Relay for Life" events, community outreach, and even the Governor's fishing opener for the state of Wisconsin.
An evening with Sequoia can be described as "Interactive Praise & Worship." Tight vocal harmonies (like Phillips, Craig & Dean), stories of God's faithfulness and fun (crowd participation) make an ministry event with Sequoia a perfect fit for your event. From a full concert, to intimate worship, Sequoia can minister to fit your group's needs.
Steve Snyder plays keyboards and is on vocals, Dave Podoll is on guitar and vocals, and Garrett Novak sings lead, plays hand percussion and is the spokesman for the group.
As a Sequoia tree exists in "community," helping hold one another up-- so does our desire to help the Christian "community" learn to truly "bear one another's burdens." We are all in different stages of growth...and God has tremendous worth in each of His children.
